The American Bar Association has designated October as Pro Bono Service Month. The Hampshire County Bar Association and The Volunteer Lawyers Service awarded Attorney John J. Torrone the 2009 Pro Bono Publico Award. This award is given to an individual who shows dedication and Commitment in providing access to Justice for Low Income Individuals.

Additionally, all the attorneys at Jackson & Torrone were recognized for their pro bono service to low income individuals by a Proclamation from Massachusetts Govenor Deval Patrick.
